 BIPV - Solar integrated building

Integrated photovoltaics in the building (BIPV) Solar energy production systems that are seamlessly integrated into the building envelope and some of the building components such as facades, roofs or windows.

applications

BIPV systems can be installed during the construction of a building or during the renovation of an existing building while replacing the shell components. The built environment allows for many ways to integrate BIPV. In general, there are three main application areas for BIPV: roofs (e.g. shingles, shingles, skylights), facades (e.g. cladding, curtain walls, windows) and external integrated systems (e.g. balcony railings, shading systems).
